For 23 consecutive months, Texas oil and gas companies added new jobs in exploration and production — 2,400 new jobs in October alone.
As reported by the Houston Chronicle, data compiled by the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Oil & Gas Association confirm that since 2016, employment in the Texas upstream sector has increased by a whopping 56,000 jobs. Best of all, the jobs are among the highest paying in any sector!
